More on Ambiance for Openbox

I've updated this theme a bit more. I even had a play with lxde (I was not amazingly impressed, lxpanel still disappoints, especially the font/icon sizing madness.) with the matching themes etc.seeing how it looked with a 'complete' desktop.

Updated Openbox Ambiance and Radiance type themes for Ubuntu 10.10

Making Openbox themes to match other themes is sometimes sort of fun, sometimes futile, but you do it anyway, think of the children. Some time ago I tried (for the greater good!) to make a pair of themes to go with Ubuntu’s Ambiance and Radiance, I’m not ...

Zenity get_iplayer

Ages ago for reasons best forgotten I made a tiny zenity script that will basically list BBC shows and let you click to download them, it ain't fancy, but I seem to still use it, and I've never bothered to work on it anymore:

It still looks lame:

Openbox Ambiance

To conclude my flirtation with ubuntu themes for openbox here is Ambiance:

I'm not really that in love with either of the themes, and i'm not sure how well they have really work within the openbox theme system, but it's nice to have stuff that matches, right?

Ecroob GTK Theme

As an optimist, I assume that the reason no one really likes my Ecru theme is because it uses the gtk mist engine (not that it is shit). So to remedy this I've gone the complete other way and made a murrine engine version, and you'll need git murrine I ...

Openbox Radiance

I finally uploaded the first effort at an Openbox version-ish of the ubuntu radiance theme.

It's far from perfect, I'd appreciate any thoughts?

l3ib.org haxpact – Some Themes

Despite being a somewhat dysfunctional l3ib member I'm tossing my hat into haxpact.

I don't have much going on except a mess of scripts and some themes but let's begin.

The new artwork has surfaced for ubuntu, this is pretty old news. I thought I'd try and make an openbox version so, ...

Even More Openbox XDG-Menu Rambling

There are a few xdg menus appearing for openbox, but I still don't think any of them are as good (or as simple) as the one provided by Fedora, which, as I understand it, is still the only one that properly respects user customisation.

The problem is that it does not ...

Openbox 3.4.8 Released

There has been a new Openbox released! (changelog | download) (thanks Dana and Mikael). Here are a few of the things that I was personally the most interested in:

The "use system title bar and borders" option in Chrome/Chromium now works as expected.

You can click through shaped windows, which is ...
